Project Challenges

Being prepared for the unexpected, and able to execute the projects safely at very remote locations with minimal resources. High volumes of rail traffic require flexible schedules, and careful coordination with all stakeholders

We have been working with CP Rail for over 20 years throughout Canada. Some of our greatest challenges on CP projects are the remoteness of the worksites, challenging terrain, and coordinating our work activities around active rail traffic.

BAT Construction has a fleet of specialized Hi-Rail Equipment to allow for fast and safe access of crews, materials, and equipment. This equipment coupled with the high angle scaling, stabilization, and rope access skills of our personnel are an essential contribution to the success and safety of CPs rail operations.

BAT Construction delivers a variety of services to CP Rail, including Emergency rockfall/ landslide response, Slope Stabilization, Scaling, Meshing, Anchor and Rock Bolt Installation, Ground Support Systems, Shotcrete, Tunnel Maintenance, Danger Tree Removal, Retaining Walls, and General Contracting. We have crews based out of Ontario and BC.
