BAT Construction was contracted to provide specialized drilling and blasting services for rip-rap production near Tulameen, BC, supporting regional road maintenance and slope stabilization. The project covered two main locations: the Tulameen Quarry Expansion and the Tulameen Bluffs. BAT’s scope included site mobilization, clearing, stripping, and drilling and blasting approximately 20,800 cubic meters of rock.

BAT Construction was engaged as a subcontractor to perform temporary geohazard mitigation services for the Trans Mountain Expansion Project. The scope of work included slope scaling, the installation of both upslope and downslope mesh systems, anchoring, and the preparation of access routes for inspection purposes. Additionally, targeted spot meshing and anchoring were carried out along access roads to enhance overall site stability.

BAT Construction delivered rock stabilization for the Hwy 1 Chase West project, installing 3,200m of rock bolts and 600m³ of shotcrete to support over 25,000m³ of excavation—ensuring safety and performance on this vital BC highway upgrade.

BAT Construction was subcontracted by EllisDon/PME, under the ownership of Canadian National Railway (CN), to perform specialized earth retention and stabilization work for the CN Ashcroft Subdivision Mile 17.7 to 18.8 Jaleslie Siding Extension project. This critical infrastructure project required advanced geotechnical solutions within a tightly constrained rail corridor.
